Role: Drive the market strategy and client engagement to position Deck as a leader in the bill payments, accounting, and real estate management sectors.

The GTM Lead for Bill Payments, Accounting, and Real Estate Management will develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy tailored to companies within these sectors. This role will oversee the planning and execution of all market-entry initiatives, ensuring alignment with Deck's business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of these markets and a proven track record in driving successful market strategies.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy to establish Deck's presence in the bill payments, accounting, and real estate management sectors.
  • Identify and target key market segments and buyer personas.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and executive teams to align goals and messaging.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders within these sectors.
  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to address their specific challenges.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in bill payments, accounting, and real estate management sectors.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine and optimize market strategies.

Brand Positioning:

  • Enhance Deck's brand presence within these sectors through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all client interactions and marketing channels.

Lead Generation:

  • Drive the creation of high-quality, inbound lead generation programs specific to clients in bill payments, accounting, and real estate management.
  • Develop lead nurturing programs to move prospects through the sales funnel.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up.
  • Partner with product and executive teams to create compelling value propositions and messaging.
  • Lead and manage projects with agencies and/or freelancers to support marketing efforts.

Budget Management:

  • Track and report on the return on investment for market-entry activities.
  • Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources.

Qualifications

Key Experiences:

  • 5+ years of experience in a go-to-market or business development role.
  • Proven experience in driving market strategies and client engagement.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Desire to learn and become an expert in those sectors. 
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to inform decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and present ideas effectively.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) and analytics tools.
