This role will oversee the planning and execution of all market-entry initiatives, ensuring alignment with Deck's business objectives. Responsibilities
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy to establish Deck's presence in the sustainability sector.
- Identify and target key market segments and buyer personas.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and executive teams to align goals and messaging.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key sustainability-focused clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and tailor solutions to address their specific challenges.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the sustainability sector.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine and optimize market strategies.
Brand Positioning:
- Enhance Deck's brand presence in the sustainability sector through targeted marketing initiatives.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all client interactions and marketing channels.
Lead Generation:
- Drive the creation of high-quality, inbound lead generation programs specific to sustainability clients.
- Develop lead nurturing programs to move prospects through the sales funnel.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up.
- Partner with product and executive teams to create compelling value propositions and messaging.
- Lead and manage projects with agencies and/or freelancers to support marketing efforts.
Budget Management:
- Track and report on the return on investment for market-entry activities.
- Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
Qualifications
Key Experiences:
- 5+ years of experience in a go-to-market or business development role, with a required background in the sustainability sector.
- Proven experience in driving market strategies and client engagement.
- Experience working with sustainability-focused companies.
